SAIRA's Story
Our official partner, Saira Qadir, runs SAIRA in Pakistan as an NGO. Saira Qadir was not born into ease. From an early age, she faced the kind of challenges most people can barely imagine. Living with a disability in Pakistan—where access to basic services, education, and support is often limited for differently-abled individuals—Saira encountered roadblocks at every turn. But her spirit? Unbreakable. Where others might have been silenced by hardship, Saira found her voice. Her lived experience gave her a deep understanding of the silent battles faced by thousands across Pakistan: children without wheelchairs, families with no access to proper medical care, and countless individuals sidelined simply because society doesn’t make space for them .Instead of letting her pain define her, Saira transformed it into purpose .That’s how the SAIRA Trust Fund was born.
